Shen Tiao Tiao (Zhu Li Lan) is coerced into passing herself off as the fiancee of the Lin family heir Lin Qing Lan (Huang Tian Qi), and marrying him. The young man is simple-minded yet amidst plots to take control of his fortune, the couple fall in love.

Meet You
Meet You was an impulse watch. It really didn’t look like much with that uber-generic poster and that summary we’ve seen a thousand times before, but in the end I spent an excellent afternoon with those characters and their adventures.
With only 12 episodes of 30 minutes each, it’s a hilarious show that really doesn’t take itself seriously, to the point that it sometimes looks very much like a parody. That doesn’t stop it, however, from thoroughly thrashing hearts left and right when the time comes, thanks in large part to a lovely pair of leading characters whose energetic dynamic, sincerity and righteousness make them an instant hit.
The one thing that bothered me a little was that the music was often too loud compared to the dialogue, but it’s easy to forgive considering how much fun the entire thing is.
All in All…
It’s short, sweet, funny and cute: a quick watch to relax and cheer up. (Also, bonus points for that very unexpected ending!)
